Universal Health Care Foundation supports nonprofit organizations that are addressing systemic problems in Connecticut’s ailing health care system. In 2005, we awarded more than $1.3 million in grants to organizations taking demonstrable steps to address critical issues in the areas of education and public awareness, outreach, mobilization and action.
The Foundation's grantees strive to maximize their reach into their respective communities and improve their effectiveness through collaborations and partnerships. We are proud of their work and their commitment to working together for a common goal: to establish a system of quality, affordable health care in Connecticut that leaves no one out. The Foundation’s grants are awarded to organizations that share this vision and are working to advance it.
We are committed to making the grant application process accessible to all qualified organizations. Call or email us if you need assistance with any aspect of the application process.
