Jill Zorn, who serves as Senior Policy Officer, joined the Foundation in 2006. She is responsible for monitoring and analyzing state and federal health policy trends, health policy research and strategy development, and cultivating key partnerships for the foundation. Her policy advocacy work focuses on addressing high health care prices and how states can put building blocks in place to move toward quality, affordable health care for all.
A frequent public presenter on health care reform, Jill brings a background in health care administration to her post. Her former positions include Assistant Vice President for Planning at Mount Sinai Hospital in Hartford, Support Services Administrator for Kaiser Permanente’s health centers in the Hartford area, and Chapter Programs Director for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Connecticut Chapter. She is a graduate of Brown University and received her MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University.
